Realistic CEO™ Summary
One student. One educator. One school. One family. One step at a time.
A high school business teacher once told a student his dream of becoming a CEO wasn’t realistic. That moment didn’t discourage him, it sparked a movement. What began as a podcast and a children’s book has evolved into Realistic CEO™, a student success and leadership platform now reaching thousands. With over 17,000 books distributed, 115+ podcast episodes recorded, 50+ paid speaking engagements across K–12 and college markets, and curricula being implemented in schools and programs, Realistic CEO™ is helping students turn belief into action and vision into execution.

Realistic CEO™ Platform
Realistic CEO™ is a K–12 and college student success platform designed to support career readiness and leadership development by helping students move from self belief to execution through real world stories, practical frameworks, and consistent action. Serving learners from early elementary through high school and beyond, it strengthens literacy, social emotional development, confidence, and self awareness while reinforcing the competencies and long term outcomes schools, districts, colleges, universities, and organizations already prioritize.
Core Approach
In just two years, Realistic CEO™ has reached over 17,000 youth through 50+ speaking engagements across K–12 and college audiences.
At its core, Realistic CEO™ intentionally establishes safe, supportive, and trusting learning environments that create the conditions necessary for effective learning. The platform emphasizes predictable structures, clear expectations, respectful dialogue, and student voice so learners feel emotionally safe to ask questions, take academic risks, reflect, and grow. These conditions support engagement, curiosity, and sustained participation before students are asked to apply content or demonstrate outcomes.
Realistic CEO™ is built on the 10 Pillar Self Belief to Execution System, a developmentally appropriate student development framework aligned with district Graduate Profile frameworks, Financial Literacy, College and Career Readiness goals, and state and district learning standards. Rooted in early literacy and comprehension, the system supports culturally responsive, student led, and inquiry based learning environments where students take ownership of their learning through goal setting, reflection, collaboration, and application. Introduced early and reinforced over time, the system helps learners build confidence, agency, leadership, and real world readiness by translating belief into consistent, measurable action at every stage of development.
Delivery Model
Realistic CEO™ at Barry Elementary School
Realistic CEO™ is implemented through flexible, school aligned delivery models that integrate seamlessly into existing structures and schedules. These include interactive read alouds and author visits, grade band workshops, multi-week programs, and standards aligned curriculum units with built in reflection, discussion, and real world application.
Additional delivery options include advisory and SEL blocks, after school enrichment and student clubs, leadership development experiences, family engagement sessions, and project based learning aligned to a school’s core values, graduate profile, and priority outcomes.

In some implementations, structured simulations may be used as one application of the system, introducing age appropriate team roles such as the C suite to help students practice responsibility, collaboration, communication, and decision making. Educators are supported through clear facilitation guides and adaptable materials that allow each book and program to be tailored to the unique needs, values, and goals of the school community.
Realistic CEO™ Podcast
With over 115 episodes recorded, the Realistic CEO Podcast brings students, educators, and families into direct connection with real world voices by featuring interviews with business leaders, professionals, and community change makers. Each episode provides practical insight into how self belief, planning, and consistent action translate into real outcomes across industries, helping students see what is possible while reinforcing confidence, critical thinking, and career awareness. As the platform continues to grow, one of its goals is to interview icons like Shaquille O'Neal, expanding students’ exposure to leadership at the highest level.
Realistic CEO™ Podcast Magazine
The Realistic CEO Podcast Magazine reinforces and expands on these lessons through curated articles, student features, and real world stories that support literacy, reflection, and application. Designed to keep learning engaging and relevant, the magazine helps students connect ideas to action while strengthening their understanding of leadership, career pathways, and personal development.
The Realistic CEO™ Multiverse
The Realistic CEO™ Multiverse reinforces learning through stories, media, and real world examples that increase engagement, relevance, and retention across a lifelong learning continuum. The Multiverse supports whole child development by strengthening literacy skills, critical thinking, character, reflection, and application, while intentionally elevating student voice so every learner feels seen, heard, and valued within a supportive learning community.
The Realistic CEO™ Multiverse also extends learning beyond the classroom and into the world outside of school. Designed as a multigenerational layer of the platform, the Multiverse creates shared language, values, and practices across students, educators, and families. By connecting what students learn in school to conversations, reflection, and experiences at home and in the community, the Multiverse strengthens literacy, critical thinking, character, and application while helping create supportive dream environments that reinforce belief, planning, and readiness across generations.

A Longitudinal Case Study
Mychal “Mikey” Connolly Jr. 2x CEO at age 19
The journey of our Co-Founder and CEO, Mychal Connolly Jr., serves as a longitudinal case study of the system in practice across a full public school experience. From early learning through graduation, he developed literacy, self direction, critical thinking, and leadership skills aligned with district frameworks while consistently applying the Self Belief to Execution System. His journey is shared not as an exception, but as a mirror for students who may not yet see themselves as successful, confident, or capable of leadership.
A Collaborative Partner for Schools and Organizations
Realistic CEO™ at Square One
Realistic CEO™ does not replace existing instruction, frameworks, or educators. Instead, it works alongside districts to reinforce early literacy, student agency, culturally responsive practices, and the safe and supportive learning conditions schools already value. By providing a clear, repeatable path from self belief to execution, the platform supports meaningful, sustainable outcomes for all learners.
Every student. Every educator. Every school. Every family. Every step of the way.
LBW (Long, Lonely, Boring Work™)
This is the foundation behind every real result. It represents the discipline, consistency, and unseen effort it takes to turn goals into outcomes long after motivation fades. Realistic CEO™ teaches students to embrace LBW by showing them that success isn’t built in big moments, but in the small, repeated actions done every day. It builds resilience, focus, and confidence by helping students commit to the process, not just the outcome. Ready to take that commitment to the next level?
